The Christmas season has always been my favorite time of year. During the 2020 lockdown, like many, I missed my family terribly. That longing inspired me to write the song Christmas This Year. I actually wrote it in July, looking forward to the holiday, hoping it would feel normal again. When the holiday season arrived and it turned out to be anything but normal, I decided to release the song and create a video for it. My husband and sons joined me in bringing the Christmas This Year video to life, a tribute to the way we all kept in touch during that weird time.
