Malinda DeRouen is a California-based actor, singer, and narrator whose work spans musical theater, jazz performance, and narrative storytelling. Known for her expressive vocals and commanding stage presence, she has become a vibrant and versatile force in the performing arts communities of the Monterey Bay and Central Coast.

Malinda is a featured soloist in the Monterey Symphony’s annual Love Letter concerts, where she brings warmth and soul to orchestral interpretations of romantic standards and beyond. She also serves as the lead vocalist for Diamond Life, a Sade tribute band that captures the smooth, sultry essence of the iconic artist’s sound.

Her recent stage credits include acclaimed performances in Gypsy, Othello, and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill, in which she portrayed Billie Holiday. Additional highlights include roles in Mary Poppins, Evita, Much Ado About Nothing, Newsies, Chicago, Ragtime, and Beach Blanket Babylon.

In addition to her theatrical and musical work, Malinda is active in community arts education and cultural programming.
