Malinda DeRouen is an actor, singer, and narrator located on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula in California. Malinda has spent her life working on her voice and craft of performing, continuing to find something new within herself with each performance. Whether singing soulful melodies, performing a theatrical role, or narrating a story, Malinda's voice elevates her connection with audiences.  

 

Malinda is a featured soloist in the Monterey Symphony’s annual Love Letter concerts, where she brings warmth and soul to orchestral interpretations of romantic standards and beyond. She also serves as the lead vocalist for Diamond Life, a Sade tribute band that captures the smooth, sultry essence of the iconic artist’s sound.

Her recent theatrical stage credits include acclaimed lead performances in Gypsy, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill, Mary Poppins and Evita. Additional highlights include roles in Othello, Much Ado About Nothing, Newsies, Chicago, Ragtime, and Beach Blanket Babylon.
